Welcome to Harvest Bounty Greenhouses. We are a new company located in Ukiah, CA at the heart of beautiful Mendocino County. We were looking for a good greenhouse, but most of the available ones were expensive and couldn’t be used during the summer without scorching our plants. So we’d also need a shadehouse, but none were available. Instead, we built our own year-round durable greenhouse that’s both an excellent greenhouse and has a special shadecloth to guard from the searing heat.
Using the shadecloth and our first prototype, we picked a surprising 249 pounds of tomatoes from our six plants in the first year. We had fresh tomatoes and peppers until Christmas. Imagine how excited we were!
We wanted to share these amazing little greenhouses, so we went to the drawing board and designed the perfect greenhouse. In our field testing this year, we’ve picked over 100 Ancho Poblano peppers off 8-foot-tall pepper plants. We’ve picked too many Sungold tomatoes to count and enough Celebrity tomatoes to process and freeze for the entire winter. We were already stocked for winter by Thanksgiving day!
